About Wild Rose Skincare

Wild Rose Skincare is an independent skincare company.
We believe in using natural ingredients that are cruelty-free and ethically sourced.

We used to have a smallholding in Lincolnshire where we grew vegetables and kept chickens and goats. We rescued battery hens for the Battery Hen Welfare Trust, often rescuing 500 at a time. They were rehomed as pets by people who would come and collect them to give them a better life, over the years we saw thousands rehomed.

Our goats were my main passion, they were lovely and very naughty, they all had names and would come when called and often answer back! I made goats cheese and sold it at Farmers Markets and in local delis. It won awards at the British Cheese Awards and Great Taste Awards, but it was very hard work! My husband had to have a knee replacement followed by a hip replacement, so sadly we decided it was time to sell the smallholding.

It was around this time that my daughter bought me a book on soap making. I’ve always loved making things but my attempts at making soap were a bit hit and miss. I loved the process, it’s a bit like making a cake, follow the recipe results in success – deviate at your peril! I decided to enrol on a soap making course to learn more about it and develop my own unique soap recipe.

Since those early days, and many more skincare courses, I have gone on to develop my ever-expanding skincare range.

All our products are vegan and cruelty free.

We believe in complete transparency so please do not hesitate to ask any questions you may have about our products.
